Developing a field sales app


Today TDK-Lambda UK is Britain's largest designer and manufacturer of both standard and configurable AC-DC and DC-DC power supplies. We collaborated with TDK to develop an app for their sales representatives. Our objective was to provide product catalogs digitally, so they can quickly and easily access all product data, on the move.

Our team created a native Android & iOS app with a web portal for instant live content updates. The app features instant product updates, efficient user interface and offline functionality providing the sales team with all the tools they need whilst on the move. We are now analysing user data, preparing the next set of features and providing ongoing support.

"We wanted to go further than just replicating the paper catalogue so we implemented a number of features that would greatly benefit the sales team. These features included search, which allowed the sales team to quickly find information about any product in the catalogue, and a share feature, which would allow them to share any of the product information with their client there and then. While the app was primarily targeted towards TDK’s sales staff the app also contains great information for TDK customers, including a full list of distributors around the world, TDK locations/factories and brochures/guides for their latest products."
