Building Brand Character and Personality Through Animation
The power is in your hands - EPM's new animation for Mouser Electronics shows M-Bot as a helpful assistant, delivering essential electronics knowledge to a production line, improving the machines’ productivity and saving the day.
Based on a Japanese concept design, EPM was tasked with bringing to life a cartoon robot for Mouser (M-Bot).
Result
Using an initial plan and basic storyboard, EPM redesigned, elaborated and enhanced M-Bot to give the character a charming personality with which to deliver the brand message. 3D software tools were employed to relay the brand narrative in a fun and informative way, introducing fellow robots into a factory environment.
The aim of the animation was to promote the email newsletter service for Mouser, which provides readers with tech resources, industry trends and the latest research so that they can stay ahead of the curve. With over 160,000 views on YouTube, the success of the animation has led to its translation and use in other markets.
